All Formats and Distribution Methods on One Platform

The publishing house Heja Framtiden is run by Christian von Essen. It is an extension of the future-optimistic podcast of the same name, which focuses on ongoing discussions about important future issues. The publications are created in close collaboration with authors and organizations that want to share their message.

Why did you choose Publit?

I used to work with another small publishing house, and it became both messy and expensive to manage physical books in one place, e-books in another, and separate agreements with multiple of companies. When Publit launched their warehouse solution, we were among the first customers to test it. The simplicity and personal contact made it an obvious choice when I started Heja Framtiden in 2022. Having all formats and distribution options in a single platform is unbeatable.

How do you view traditional publishing vs Print on Demand?

There has been a perception that Print on Demand means lower quality, but when I finally tested it, I couldn't see a difference from offset prints. To reduce financial risk and reach readers faster, Print on Demand is hard to beat. The flexibility is highly appreciated by my partners.

Which of Publit's solutions are you using?

We use the full package: distribution and warehouse management of physical titles, Print on Demand, as well as audio and e-book distribution to all major platforms. We are also using Publit for e-book conversion.

What value has the collaboration created for you?

Having a single point of contact for all these services provides security, a clear overview, and saves a lot of time. I see that Heja Framtiden has the potential to grow into a kind of think tank, and there are great advantages in being able to quickly share thoughts and ideas in multiple formats. I want to challenge what a "book" really has to be, and through Publit's flexibility , I can start experimenting with shorter formats adapted for audio and e-books, or Print on Demand for readers who prefer a physical book.

We are happy to help you with a better distribution model!
